Choosing Progress Over Perfection

They’d say it’s not enough.

The 10 minutes I exercise.

It should be longer. 

It’s not enough.

And I need to remind myself that this is more.
It’s more per week.
It’s earlier.
It’s more intense.

Than when I started.

While I may get to their more, right now, I need to focus on my more.
I nudge forward because it’s manageable, sustainable, and realistic. 

It’s progress.   And it’s more important for me than perfection. 

And who are “they,” anyway?
