Is Your Timing Realistic?

Leadership tip: Sometimes it’s not the goal that’s wrong, it’s the timing. with line art picture of hockey player holding a stick.

My son joined local league hockey three years ago.
He was 12.
Had never played before.

He had to create a goal for school.
His goal was to get 10 goals in hockey that season.
He got zero.

And he didn’t give up.

He learned what he needed to learn.
He practiced.
He tried.

His third season is not yet over.
He’s scored 15 goals.

I’m reminded that sometimes it’s not the goal that’s wrong, it’s the timing.
