DEVELOP THE THINKING, HABITS, AND SYSTEMS THAT HELP PEOPLE AND PERFORMANCE THRIVE
Increase motivation and engagement using behavioural science and systems thinking
People are seeking a work environment where their skills, abilities, and thinking are valued and engaged and they feel safe and motivated to learn, develop, and contribute.
THRIVE: A Leadership Journey helps participants apply behavioural science and systems thinking to increase motivation, solve performance issues, lead change, and create an inspiring and engaging work environment that enhances the results of the organization and the lives of everyone in it.
Think differently about the challenges you face and the path to overcome them
Move away from reacting to symptoms with “We need more ____” (people, time, money, pizza, etc.) and design and implement initiatives that solve problems and create an environment that supports people to thrive.
Participants learn how to use emotional intelligence, root cause
analysis, and coaching, rather than progressive discipline, to enhance accountability, efficiency, and enthusiasm for achieving results.
Executives strengthen their ability to turn strategy into action and create a culture that drives success.

The THRIVE Journey
The THRIVE Leadership Journey is twelve learning modules, broken into three main sections. Each module provides ideas, tools, and skills participants take with them on their journey to enhance their development and success.
LAYING THE FOUNDATION
The Laying the Foundation modules help participants get comfortable with their own development and introduce fundamental concepts that they will use to solve problems, support development, and lead change. They learn the importance of psychological safety, how our core beliefs impact our outcomes, how to address the root cause of persistent problems, and how to align actions with desired outcomes to achieve success.
Topics include: Psychological safety, stress, resistance to change, mindset, emotional intelligence, empathy, root cause, using data, and creating aligned goals.
UNDERSTANDING AND DEVELOPING PEOPLE
With a strong foundation, we can begin to build the structures that will help realize increased performance and well-being for the organization and everyone in it.
The Understanding and Developing People modules help participants become more comfortable and proficient in guiding other people’s development using coaching principles. They are encouraged to use their knowledge of human behaviour and their emotional intelligence to develop relationships and routines that enhance the motivation, commitment, and performance of the people they lead.
Topics include: Stress management, delegation, effective communication, boundaries, coaching, one-on-ones, giving feedback, supporting change, team building, and team meetings.
In the Taking Action modules, we discuss how to apply the new ways of thinking and strengthen habits to overcome common challenges and lead change.
Participants will be able to confidently address and resolve performance and interpersonal problems, make better use of their time by delegating, and improve their own well-being. They will create goals and plans to put their knowledge and skills into action and create a culture where people thrive.
Topics include: Performance coaching and progressive discipline, victim mentality, time management, getting and using feedback, defining the culture you want, and leading change.
We Understand and Support Change
Sustained and meaningful results require moving beyond awareness and supporting people to make changes to their thinking and behaviour. Change isn’t easy. The THRIVE program supports change by providing:

THRIVE: A Leadership Journey has been life-changing, positively impacting both my work and home life. The course has helped me understand people better (including myself – big time) and has given me the tools to implement a strategic plan well.
It helped me to realize that if we want our team to get it right for each client, we (as owners and leaders) need to take the time to help get it right for each team member, which means making sure every team member is heard and has their needs met. It also means providing clearly stated strategic goals that are broken down into smaller bite-sized pieces that can get assigned and completed.
I have learned that I benefit from and enjoy uninterrupted work time. I set a goal to close my door for a couple of hours a week to spend time thinking strategically and prioritizing my goals and tasks. I feel positive and motivated about my work and the results I am getting.
This course gave me new awareness, and I began seeing blind spots, problems arising because of system breakdowns, people struggling, etc. I could apply what I had learned, being empathetic and asking questions to understand what is going on and find the root cause. It has led to some great conversations with my team and an eagerness for people to contribute to making improvements.
I participated in this course during a hectic and stressful time at work. The things I learned from the sessions helped keep me calm and focused. I was able to identify things that I needed to change, like not taking on too many large goals, as it would overwhelm and demotivate me.
I have been to many conferences and training programs, watched videos, and listened to podcasts, but I have found it hard to put the ideas into action. THRIVE: A Leadership Journey helped me to turn my good intentions into action and get results. I wish I had taken this program at the start of my career, but I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to do it now while I still have many years left to make a significant impact on my company, the people who work in it, and the clients we serve.
